How to: RSS feeds on your home screen

Hi folks,

Today we came up with a tutorial. It will help you create shortcuts to your favorite RSS feeds straight on your s60v3 FP2 / S60v5 phone home screen.

Just follow the screenshots and short descriptions!

1. Go to Menu > Settings

2. Go to Personal

3. Go to Home screen

4. Go to Home screen theme

5. Choose “Contacts bar” theme

6. Now go to Homescreen and tap the icon with silhouette and “plus” mark

7. Tap Options button and choose New Contact. Here enter various data for your favorite feed (not obligatory) .Tap Done

8. Now contact appeared on your home screen. Tap it

9. Tap RSS button to add new feed to the contact

10. Choose one of available feeds or tap Options > Add new to add new feed

11. Enter title and CORRECT feed address

12. Finish, tap the contact icon on the home screen and enjoy the final result

The trick works fairly well on S60v3 devices with contacts bar homescreen widget such as 5730, 5630, E5. Instructions provided by kreativtek are the same!
